2019 Fall Micro Registration

Registration Closes – Saturday, August 24th at 11pm EST

U4-8 Fall Micro

Participants in the SWSA Fall Micro program will be divided into the following groups: U4 “First Touch”, U5/6, and U7/8 based on birth year. Micro groups are typically coed, but gender-specific teams may be formed if registration numbers allow.

The 8-week Fall season will begin after Labor Day and run through early November. You have the option of choosing your practice and training night during registration checkout.  And we will make every attempt to fulfill those requests.  This will be based on coach availability as well as field assignments that are provided to the various sports programs.

All participants will receive an SWSA game shirt as part of the registration. Players NEED to have their own soccer ball (with name written on it), shin guards, and water bottle.

U4 “First Touch” is for players born in 2016. Sessions will be held on Saturday mornings for 1 hour, and will include 40 minutes of training followed by 20 minutes of mini-games. Cost is $75/player. Players will use a size 3 soccer ball.

U5/6 Micro is for players born in 2014 and 2015. Players will receive 2 week nights of practices and play 4v4 games on Saturday morning/afternoon. Parent volunteers will be needed to lead the coach practices and games. Cost is $100/player. Players will use a size 3 soccer ball.

U7/8 Micro is for players born in 2012 and 2013. Players will receive 2 week nights of practices and play 4v4 games on Saturday morning/afternoon. Parent volunteers will be needed to lead the coach practices and games. Cost is $100/player. Players will use a size 4 soccer ball.

U9-U14 Rec Fall 2019 Registration

Starts early September. $100

Participants in the SWSA Fall Rec program will be divided into the following groups: U9/10 Boys, U9/10 Girls, and potentially U11-14 Coed based on birth year. The U9/10 group may combine into a coed team if registration numbers are low. U11-14 coed numbers are typically very low and not sufficient enough to support a team. If so, we will try to find other options for interested players. The 8-week Fall season will begin the week after Labor Day and run through early November. Practice and training night options will be communicated prior to the start of the season, once field assignments are provided to the various sports programs. All participants will receive an SWSA jersey and matching socks as part of the registration. Players will be expected to have their own soccer ball, shin guards, and water bottle.

U9/10 is for players born in 2010 and 2011. Players will receive 1 weeknight of training, 1 weeknight of coach practice, and play 7v7 games on Saturday mornings. Games will be played with teams in our Local Rec Travel league, and will include some travel to the towns of Harrison, South Harrison, Franklin Township, Pennsville, and Woodstown. Parent volunteers will be needed to lead the coach practices and games. Cost is $100/player. Players will use a size 4 soccer ball.

U11-14 is for players born between 2006 to 2009. If sufficient numbers are available, players will receive 1 weeknight of training, 1 weeknight of coach practice, and play 7v7 games on Saturday mornings. Games will be played with available teams in our Local Rec Travel league, and may include some travel to the towns of Harrison, South Harrison, Franklin Township, Pennsville, and Woodstown. Parent volunteers will be needed to lead the coach practices and games. Cost is $100/player. Players will use a size 5 soccer ball.
